“ I ate here a really long time ago but recently came by for takeout after wanting to come by for awhile. I do remember that I ordered a deep dish pie when I ate here and it was really delicious but definitely could not finish it lol. This time I wanted to try a tavern pie and I decided on the hot girl with caramelized onions and the paprika ranch on the side. Two ladies that were sitting in the front ordered it and they said it was incredible. I brought it home for dinner and promptly it went into the air fryer (not the whole pie but a small portion). It was very big (enough for probably 3, 4 people). The pizza was delicious, lots of toppings (they don't skimp here). I loved the cupped pepperoni, it was so good. The hot honey on top gave it a nice sweet and savory vibe. I loved the jalapenos on it, but beware, they keep the seeds in. Definitely would go back again, maybe to get deep dish again. ”

“ Terrific Chicago style deep dish pizza. Had not had deep dish pizza in NYC since Uno Pizzeria closed so wanted to give Emmett's a try. Started with an Arugula Salad and a Chicago Style Hot Dog but it was the deep dish pizza that was the star. Had one with pepperoni, pineapple and extra cheese and one with sausage and caramelized onions - both were excellent. Very small but lively restaurant with not a lot of tables. Can feel a little cramped when crowded but the pizza makes it worthwhile. ”
“ Happy New Year 2025!! Back for our annual visit ..... last year fell on a Monday ( closed ). Still prefer to original on Mcdougall for the intimate/ never modified space. ”
“ Let's talk about this vibes that come from here it's all chill, easy to enjoy an afternoon of deep dish pizza. The sausage classic.! It's just pure goodness. Start off with mozzarella sticks. Service is amazing. It's quick you get time to relax and just chill and totally love it. ”
“ My family and I went here for some deep dish pizza and wow it did not disappoint !!! Soo delicious. The pizza sauce tastes home made. Meat was cooked fresh. My husband and I had a spritzer as well !! We ate in an outdoor area. This wasn't as wonderful. The smell of the city street was still apparent and the loud noises on the street. Also the tables were close together. The service was sub par. We were a party of five and they only gave us 4 plates. My husband had to go find another serving plate. To place the order after waiting ten minutes, my husband had to seek out a server at the front. The bill also took an exceptional amount of time to come out. But besides the service and ambiance , food truly was second to none. Order to go. ”
“ This is for the Chicago dog - they serve the closest to authentic such dog in NYC, lacking only neon green relish. The buns have poppy seeds and everything else you expect is there with a tasty dog. The atmosphere is relaxing, the music is well curated (e.g. The Glands, The Fall) and the service is friendly. Home run. ”
“ I can't speak to the service because I had this pizza delivered, but when I've passed by before, this looked like a lively after-work hangout spot. The cheese pull on the deep dish pizza is never-ending. I wish that the tomato sauce was spread more evenly around the pizza, but I found that the sauce slips off anyway as you grab a slice. While this might not be the most convenient pizza to eat, chances are this deep dish pizza will satisfy your deep dish cravings! The crust is toasted perfectly golden and isn't hard. The bread under the sauce and cheese is soft and fluffy. ”
“ We got patio seating outside and it was pretty warm with the heaters. I decided to try their Deep Dish Pizzas since I missed out my chance on trying it in Chicago. It was pretty good but this was definitely a heavy pizza. This Buds For You ($29) - lots of veggies (contains spinach, mushrooms and onions). Well flavored however I still preferred the Meat Lover more. It was more cheesy and I just like meat better. 3 STARS Meat Lover ($33) - lots of meat. Pepperoni, sausage, Italian beef. Very cheesy. I would order this again. 4 STARS. One pie is more than enough for 2 people. We had to packed the rest of the pizzas to go since we couldn't finish it. Service was good. We got water and take out box/bags when requested. ”
